M O Brown Builders Ltd is an award winning Christchurch building company which was established in 1978. Mike Brown, a third generation builder, has grown the company further since then and has been a master builder for over 20 years.
M O Brown Builders Ltd specialises in building new and innovative architectural homes as well as alterations and additions. We pride ourselves on excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Having been in the industry for 25 plus years, previously working alongside his father; Mike, who now directs the company, prides himself on his old school values and workmanship. We have an excellent team of committed and skilled builders.
Most of our business is due to past client referral, word of mouth, and recognition in the marketplace, which is the best form of advertising any company could ask for. Proven success in the Masterbuild House of the Year Awards is indicative of the level of workmanship that can be expected.
In 2004, as a first time entrant in the Masterbuilders House of the Year competition M O Brown Builders won a gold award as well as becoming the overall category winner, proceeding to the National Awards held in Auckland. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and has succeeded in winning several successive awards.
In 2010 we won a National Award in the Builders Own Home Category, as well as receiving a National Gold Reserve award for a clients property in the same year.
